The focus of my life is combining my passion for fly fishing, adventure, travel, photography, filmmaking, and guiding fishing adventures around the world into a sustainable lifestyle.
I’ve been guiding fly fishing adventures in the Great Lakes, Alaska, Panama, Bahamas, New Zealand and South America for the past eight years. I have been fly fishing since I was 15, fishing for longer than I can remember, and have dedicated a large part of my adult life and career making a living as a Fly Fishing Professional as a Fishing Guide, Photographer, and Filmmaker.
I was one of the founding members of the Angling Exploration Group and filmed, edited, produced and marketed the first two Volumes of the Trout Bum Diaries series (Patagonia and New Zealand). As the managing partner during AEG’s formative years, my mission was to build an adventure media company that would revolutionize the way the world sees fly-fishing through high-energy, entertaining adventure angling films. We also started the Fly Fishing Film Tour which evolved from a marketing tour for the Trout Bum Diaries series.
I am the founder, owner, and operator of an adventure angling company called “Primal Angler”. We produce angling gear and apparel, host angling adventures world-wide, and create high quality adventure angling media. Follow the adventure on the Primal Angler blog!
